[Note -- Orchard Nov’19 email to J.Ogg: "I assign M. carpathicus to Quadralella (Orchard, 2018).]"  His Q. lindae is a New Canada zone suite by Orchard (chart of Oct’19 to J.Ogg) of Quad. lindae - Ca. eozoae- zoae - medioconstricta - spenceri given equal durations with base-Quad. lindae at 15% up in Tropites welleri ammonoid zone and top of Ca. spenceri at top of that ammonoid zone, as schematically shown on Orchard’s chart (Oct’19 to J.Ogg).  There was a Meta. nodosus Zone drawn in GTS2004 with base at about 80% up in T. dilleri Zone (90% used here, based on partial magstrat correlation durations).   Mike Orchard, Oct’05 e-mail to Ogg: "However, "Meta. nodosus in the sense of Orchard’91 is very broad and furthermore encompased M. carpathicus.  I have a major revision of this group pending.  Q. carpathicus morphs do appear BEFORE nodosus s.s., so a zone of that name could be used."  Kozur’03 has such a zone in lower Tropites welleri ammonite zone, beginning at about 80% up in T.dilleri, therefore I presume that this reflects a revised FAD of Meta. carpathica (and I’ve dropped Meta.nodosus; plus used Kozur’03 name for N.Amer. zone (his Carnepigondolella lindae -- assumed that name-species has FAD at base).
