Lane and Brenckle (2005) has put at base of conodont faunal unit 2 (approx. base of Russian regional Radaevsky substage in their diagram, but relative conodont age placements are different). Davydov'12 has same placement. Davydov in (GTS2004, Fig.15.2) has uncertain estimate near base of underlying (with yet another substage between) Russian regional Kizelovian substage, but their age estimate is nearly 1 myr higher).
