base notes	DASH -- Davydov'12 dashes at base of Cheremshanian Russian regional stage. GTS08 -- Middle of Russian Melekessian stage was used -- DCP'06 (Menning et al) show two estimates; of which the older one (uppermost Caseyville equivalent) they project as same as base of Russian Melekessian substage. However, Davydov (GTS2004, Fig.15.2) has uncertain estimate near base of Russian Cheremshanian regional substage (base of Fusulinid zone Pf6). However, Davydov (pers. commun., May 2006) also indicated that a marker for base of the lower Pf4 (Pseudostaffella in N.Amer. zonation) is upper Atokian, which would not fit at all!				comp notes
