base notes	For GTS2020; Aretz and Wang (22Aug'19) 'The Virgilian is also the same line as the Gzhelian => tied here to Spline-CONOP of Felix'. In contrast, in GTS2016, the MFS of Cass cycle (with Schmitz-Davydov correlation to Ural UPb-Cycle scaling. Henderson places at base of S. zethus conodont zone; which also is at this level in USA Midwest. Davydov'12 had put slightly higher, as base of current Gzhelian (base of Russian Rusavkian stage), which is one conodont zone higher. GTS08 -- Cycle-Biostrat (Heckel et al., 2005) has base at transgression of Cass cycle (MFS used here), which indeed correlates with 'traditional base' of Gzhellan (base of Rusavkino cycles); and age is about 0.2 myr older than base of 'Proposed Gzelian' base. This is about 1.5 myr OLDER than the Pavlovoposadian equivalence -- Davydov (GTS2004) shows base at lower Gzhelian (near base of Russian regional Pavlovoposadian substage), consistent with its lowest Fusulinid zone with with T. secalicus, which Davydov (1996) implies is coeval with Fusulinid zone Pf20. In contrast, this zone is at base of Gzelian on ExxonMobil '01 column, but this is probably the 'traditional Gzelian base'.				comp notes
