base notes	DOTTED -- DZF 1-7 are Upper Devonian zones succession of Conil, Groessens & Pirlet (1977). Poty et al. (2006) introduced DFZ8 'for coherence with the Mississippian zonation', with Base as both FAD of T. pseudobeata and LAD of Quasiendothyra. Upper Siph. praesulcata conodont zone; Poty et al. (2006): 'in the southern Urals where it covers the Gumerovo Horizon (Upper preasulcata and Lower sulcata zones) in which the last Eoendothyra communis are found.' DOTTED as 2/3rds up in S. praesulcata zone to avoid overlaps.				comp notes	CHECK - AGE RECLAIBRATED BY ME This is part of complex interval where the Devonian conodont zonation has both changed and been recalibrated. The S. praeesulcata zone as used here (= interval between base sulcata and base praesulcata) now is divided into three zones (kockeli - costatus-kockeli Interegnum and praesulcatus) so we need to use placement between the bounding events. Reworking of the Devonian spline (and especially change of Devonian basal age means the ages given in the Permo_Carb sheet for the sulcata and reasulcata FADs were outdated - so ages of the foram events tied to them needed to change
