Therefore, M-Seq was spline-fit to those ages (forced in E.Cret.; more flexible in Jurassic) to generate smoothed spreading rates -- see Sheet "MSeqSpline24Sept" in this workbook Smoothly accelerating rate in Deep-Tow to fit Base-Bajocian from Steve Hesselbo's cycles to mid-Kimm = fits within Site 801c uncertainty Ages of M-Seq are then computed from those spreading rates downward from a "Fixed" 121.4 Ma for base-Aptian (cell C 15 above).
