It is calibrated to the Calcareous nannoplankton zone NN7 (pars) and NN8 (pars) of Martini (1971); planktonic foraminifer zone N13 (pars) to N15 (pars) of Blow (1969) and Berggren (1972); and to the dinocyst biozonal unit D17/D18 (pars) and Biozone D19 of Costa & Manum (1988). . Base of Chron C5Ar.2r (Near middle of Nanno Zone NN6). Genus was "Heteraulacocysta" in Powell ’92.				comp notes
