base notes	DOTTED - Base put as 100-kyr cycle above Subcolumbites. Shown as relatively short in schematic Spathian zonation table of Jenks et al.’15. Recognized in Nevada and S.China; but not consistent with base-Aegean ammonite zones in Medit., and probably uppermost part if overlapping the lowermost "Aegean" ammonite zone (see Assereto et al. 1980). Equivalent to K. subrobustus of Boreal [Orchard, May07 to Nicoll]. HOWEVER, that K. subrobustus zone had been estimated to span LT6r through m9d-LT9r in Spitsbergen; Fig. 3 of Hounslow-Muttoni) => incredibly long (and would eliminate most of "Lower" Spathian (as they had to do on their diagram). But, using Jenks et al. (2015; Ammonoid book), then K. subrobustus is NOT established as low => based on Procolumbites at Chaohu, then N. haugi (and K. robustus) dashed at base of Chaohu 100-kyr cycle e12.3. NOTE, in GTS2012, if use Ellesmere; then base-LT8r (dashed) = leaves a bit more room for underlying ammonite zones.				comp notes
