base notes	New zone of Epigondolella vialovi of Rigo et al. (2018) is shown schematically as beginning at ca. 90% up in Disco. plinni subzone of Ana. spinosus ammonoid zone. Mazza et al (2018) resolve it as ca. 80% up in PM3r at Pizzo Modello GSSP candidate (used here). The upper part of the E. vialovi Zone is characterised by the occurrences of E. quadrata ... This zone represents thus an important faunal turnover in all the Tethys, described as T1 (=Turnover 1) in Mazza et al. (2010). In T1, the carnepigondolellids become scarcer until they completely disappear towards the upper boundary of the zone (to be replaced by Epigondolella).				comp notes
