base notes	Basal age of Clarkina krystyni (now Neoclarkinia) is from Daxiakou is implied as 450 kyr above base of I. isarcica from cyclostrat (Fig. B1 in Mingsong Li et al., 2015 in press). Genus "Neogondollela" is preferred by Orchard (May’07), and Neoclarkina is used in some Chinese sections. [Mike Orchard, Jan 2016 "I suggest using Neoclarkina krystyni (after Henderson), although the grounds for recognizing that genus are poor – but not as poor as Clarkina!"] Kozur (2003) had used "Clarkina" carinata for this zone, but he wrote (2006, to Jim Ogg) that "Clarkina" krystyni is preferable for now. Note that all Perm/Tri boundary Neogondollela are now assigned as "Clarkina" by some boundary workers, e.g., Kozur 2003 (why?). Zone of Hindeodus planata used at Meishan -- shallower setting. "Carinata" zone eliminated by Sweet (1986), but used by Kozur (who also implied that FAD of carinata is perhaps one-third up in Oph. tibeticum ammonite zone (used here). Kozur (2003) had an overlying zone of Clarkina postcarinata, beginning at about 2/3rds up in Oph. tibeticum ammonite zone. However, he wrote (2006, to Jim Ogg) that this species is not described, therefore to not use this zone.				comp notes	the equation gives offset as 405kyr but text suggeats this should 450kyr
