base notes	Assigned as 300.4 Ma 'hard number' based on Oplustil-Schmitz-etal, 2016, ESR: GTS2020 email of Aretz and Wang (22Aug'19): And probably the biggest problem is at the top of the scale with the Autunian. Pellenard et al. (2017) have provided very good radiometric dates (thanks to Mark Schmitz), and the have a date of 299.91+/-0.16 not far from the base of the very thick Autunian in the type region near Autun. Hence I would expect that the base of the Autunian is much nearer to 300 than the proposed 302.2. This is also proposed in Opulistil et al. 2016 (Earth Science Review), which provided dates for the upper Westphalian and Stephanian in the Czech Republic. GTS08 -- DOTTED -- Jones (in Menning, 2006) puts at base of Russian Pavlovoposadian substage (used here). However, Davydov (GTS04; Fig.15.2) had put equivalent to base of Russian Noginian substage. 'Kuzel' would be German facies name associated with this latest Carboniferous				comp notes
