Base (dashed) on SEPM chart is 43.31 Ma with no obvious Foram-zone ties, therefore assigned as 3/8ths up in Chron C20n. From Working Group on Larger Foraminifera website: "SBZZ 15 (Middle Lutetian 2). Defined by the biostratigraphic range of: Alveolina prorrecta , Nummulites sordensis, N. crassus, N. millecaput, N. tavertetensis, N. crusufonti and Orbitoclypeus douvillei chudeaui.The lower boundary is located in the upper part of Chron 20n, according to magnetostratigraphic data in Bentham and Burbank [1996] and to biostratigraphic data in Sams? et al. [1994], integrated in Poblet et al. [1998]. SBZZ15 starts in the uppetmost part of NP15 and reaches far into NP16 following Kapellos and Schaub [1973].				comp notes
